Design precision transmission systems, responsible for mechanical structure solutions and detailed design optimization of robot joints and motor gearboxes;
Perform gear parameter calculations, strength verification, tolerance analysis, backlash control, and transmission efficiency improvement; design gear pairs, bearing supports, lubrication, and sealing systems to achieve high reliability, low noise, and long service life;
Independently complete the full product development process, including gearbox layout design, 3D modeling, 2D engineering drawings, and BOM compilation;
Participate in prototype manufacturing, assembly and debugging, bench testing, and system integration, resolving structural and process issues during machining, assembly, and testing;
Monitor small-batch trial production and assist the supply chain in conducting technical evaluations and quality control for critical components such as gears, housings, and bearings;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including motor, control algorithm, and system integration engineers, to optimize mechatronic designs;
Provide technical support to procurement and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, assembleable, and suitable for mass production.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields; at least 3 years of structural design experience, including at least 1 year of specialized design experience in precision gearboxes/reduction units;
Proficient in gear transmission principles; familiar with the design of cylindrical, planetary, and bevel gears, as well as ISO 6336/AGMA strength calculations;
Proficient in 3D structural design and drafting software;
Proficient in tolerance analysis and dimensional chain calculations, with the ability to design proper fits and clearances;
Familiar with common gear materials (carburized steel, nitrided steel, powder metallurgy, etc.) and heat treatment processes;
Knowledge of machining processes such as gear hobbing, shaping, and grinding, as well as inspection methods including tooth profile measurement and CMM inspection.

Experience in developing planetary gearboxes, robotic joint modules, and micro-transmission systems;
Ability to design low-noise gear drives, achieving noise reduction through tooth profile modification and structural optimization;
Familiarity with transmission system simulation and analysis software;
Understanding of integrated design for frameless torque motors and gearboxes;
Experience in the full development and delivery process from prototype to mass production.
